The Dental Hygienist plays the leading role in the assessment of gingival inflammation and treatment of periodontal disease in the most progressive dental practices. To be effective it is imperative that one have access to the most current scientific information and the latest technology. It is with thins in mind that the Dental Hygiene Forum has been created.
The Dental Hygiene Forum was created to provide a leading edge continuing education and professional networking opportunity. The concept is for the programs and topics that will be discussed to be developed from questions submitted by dental hygienists practicing in the Delaware Valley. Dr. Brown and his colleagues will design presentations which address the most compelling issues proposed prior to each meeting. Any topic which interests you is “fair game in this format.”
The Goals of the Dental Hygiene Forum are:
- To support your ability to participate in the treatment of a larger variety of clinical cases.
- To create a greater degree of comfort in the management of more complex treatment plans
- To provide an opportunity to meet informally, with fellow hygienists in an atmosphere which supports professional growth and development
- To earn required Continuing Education Credits.
The Dental Hygiene Forum will meet three to four evenings per year for three hours. A light buffet will be served and two hours of certified Continuing Education credits will be available.
